Evelyn was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her interest in art began in kindergarten. Her love for creative self-expression did not wane over the years as she continued honing her skills.
She moved to the inspiring mountain resort town of Park City, Utah in 1987. It was in Park City that Evelyn began her experience as a massage therapist and eventually as gallery owner of the Evelyn Fournier Studio Gallery. After living there for ten years, she relocated to Santa Cruz, California in 1997. While breathing in the salty sea air she ignited her serious study of astrology and contemplation of the cosmos. Evelyn returned to Utah in January of 2000 and continues to live and work with her thriving private practice of artwork, astrology and massage within Wasatch and Summit County, Utah.
Studies include art, astrology, massage, shamanism and natural health. Publications include her stellar artwork in the international magazine The Mountain Astrologer in 2003, ‘04, ‘05, ‘06 along with a spectacular book review from the magazine by Mary Plumb for the collaboration book "Dancing on the Brink of the World" (2009) which features Evelyn’s work. Her painting appeared as front cover art in the Oct/Nov 2004 issue with Cosmic Leap – Aries. Evelyn has crafted several works of art for astrologer and transpersonal counselor Eric Meyers, M.A. as book cover art. The “Mountain Quail” 1995 Upland Game Stamp for the state of Idaho and 1996 California chapter of Ducks Unlimited Companion Print “Pintails” were both published under the name Evelyn Fournier.
